I am totally impartial and have no conflict of interest, because I have absolutely nothing that I have to sell or buy! My tenured experience and vast network of contacts allows me to locate virtually any coin offered on the market, and many that are not.
If you are selling, I will offer your coins to the highest buyers. Or, I will recommend the finest auction venues where the most competitive buyers typically seek coins such as yours. Ultimately, I leverage my experience and network to get you the best possible prices for your coins.
I have been a numismatic expert for over 50 years. For a small commission I treat every purchase or sale of my client's coins as if they were my own. Further, I negotiate the best possible prices, and they reap the benefits.
The reasons I am acting exclusively as a rare coin broker or rare coin consultant are two-fold. First, I believe this is the future of numismatics. Second, I want to eliminate as many possible problems and concerns for my clients. This allows them to view rare coins solely for the investment potential, history, artwork, beauty, and enjoyment they offer, while limiting the worries.
My singular focus is to personally acquire the finest numismatic assets or to sell your coins while saving or making you money in the process.
Rather than buying or selling a client's coins using my own inventory I act as a rare coin broker or rare coin consultant. I perform this in the coin dealer wholesale marketplace, and in the strictest of confidence.
Historically, an individual had to locate a rare coin or gold bullion dealer. The person couldn’t know whether the dealer’s profit was 15% or 30% on every coin, or much higher. Also, the person didn’t know if the coins offered were the best available. If one were selling, they couldn't know if they were receiving a good price or a fraction of what their coins were worth. These were some of the challenges consumers had to deal with. My goal is to change this.
Coin dealers typically buy and sell through their inventories. This creates a conflict of interest when they are approached by a buyer. Will the dealer look elsewhere to obtain something special, or just sell the person a coin he has in inventory? Likewise, if an individual is selling their coins, the less the dealer pays, the greater is their profit. Unfortunately, for this reason, many sellers receive less for their coins than they could.
